Azerbaijan State Maritime Academy Open Doors for International Students

The Azerbaijan State Maritime Academy (ASMA) announces student admission for international citizens and stateless persons for the 2026/2027 academic year in the following specialties:

Bachelor's Level:

Marine Navigation (taught in Azerbaijani, English, and Russian)

Marine Engineering / Operation of Ship Power Plants (taught in Azerbaijani and English)

Shipbuilding and Ship Repair (taught in Azerbaijani)

Electrical and Electronics Engineering (taught in Azerbaijani)

The duration of Bachelor's degree studies is 4 years.

Master's Level:

Navigation and Vessel Traffic Management (taught in Azerbaijani)

Marine Engineering and Technology (taught in Azerbaijani)

Operation of Marine Equipment and Machinery (taught in Azerbaijani)

Electrical and Electronics Engineering (taught in Azerbaijani)

The duration of Master's degree studies is 2 years.

Admission of International Students: Their educational background and proficiency in the language of instruction are assessed by the Academy’s interview commission, and admission is finalized upon meeting the established requirements.

Tuition Fee: 5,100 AZN.

Students are provided with uniforms, study materials, and dormitory accommodation free of charge. The Academy's diplomas are recognized in more than 170 countries.

The Azerbaijan State Maritime Academy is a member of the International Association of Maritime Universities (IAMU) and the Association of State Universities of Caspian Sea Countries.
