The Academy is the principal source of personnel for the Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company (ASCO). The company's continuing need for highly qualified crews is met with quality as the first priority.

Recruitment

Graduates who distinguish themselves academically are recruited on the basis of letters of guarantee. Opportunities are created for career development, further education and strengthened social protection.

Sea practice

To develop seafarers in line with international standards, a group of students is sent each year for sea practice aboard vessels in the Black Sea.

Study abroad

Through a selection process among the Academy's highest-achieving students, fixed-term study at maritime universities abroad is funded by ASCO.
