EDUCATION ABROAD AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

As part of the 2017 scholarship program, two ASMA students are getting their Master’s degree at the World Maritime University in Malmö, Sweden.

"Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping” Closed Joint Stock Company continues its activities for training young highly qualified professionals with international experience in maritime industry and supporting their participation in maritime development.

In order to organize the education of talented and promising young people in the leading universities of foreign countries in the field of maritime industry a “Scholarship Program in Shipping” was founded in 2016. Within the framework of this program, every year 2 young people will have an opportunity to study abroad at the expense of the shipping company.

Requirements

To be accepted to the academyç the candidates must:

• Hold Bachelor’s degree
• Must know the foreign language required at the selected international education institution
• Upon graduation, they have to return to the Republic of Azerbaijan and work for 5 years in the "Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping” Closed Joint Stock Company.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

1. Certificate of admission to a higher education institution.
2. Certificate of language proficiency
3. Certificate with transcript of admission scores in SAC
4. National passport
5. Diploma and its appendix
6. Certificate of graduation
7. Certificate of confirmation of education at present
8. Letters of recommendation
9. Military ID or certificate of military deferment
10. Health certificate
11. CV and autobiograph
