June 26, Armed Forces Day of Azerbaijan, honors the National Army and its historic role in protecting the country's sovereignty and territorial integrity. The day also commemorates the heroes who sacrificed their lives for the Motherland and celebrates the strength of the modern Azerbaijani Army.
