Vacancy: Looking for a teacher

Azerbaijan State Marine Academy seeks a part-time instructor for the following departments:

• General English
• History
• Philosophy
• The Constitutionof the Azerbaijan Republic
• Civil Defense
• IT (Computer Science)
• Chemistry and Chemical Engineering (Chemistry)
• Math
• Physics
• Applied mechanics
• Safety of life at sea (SOLAS)
• Naval technology and technical equipment
• Ship structure and theory
• Materials Science and Technology
• Descriptive geometry and engineering graphics

Requirements:

• Master or Doctoral degree
• Excellent writing and communication skills in English
• Research skills
• Relevant experience at least of 3 years
• Organizational skills, time management and high-level communication skills

Main duties:

• Teaching subjects for undergraduate and graduate students
• Preparation of syllabuses meeting university standards
• Preparation and planning of course materials, such as lessons, discussions, exercises
• Assist in organizing relevant extra-curricular activities
• Carry out all tasks assigned by the administration

Note: salary is hourly based and high.
