Legal Basis
This procedure is based on Article 57 of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On the Procedure for Reviewing Citizens' Appeals".
Types of Appeals
Under Article 3 of the Law, appeals fall into three types: proposal, application, and complaint.

Without this information, the appeal is considered anonymous.
Response
A written response is given to the appeal. If it is not satisfied, the reason is stated and the complaint procedure is explained.
Repeat Appeals
If a substantiated response has been given 3 times within a year on the same matter and there is no new information, a further appeal may be left unreviewed. The applicant is notified of this within 5 working days.
Corruption-Related Appeals
Corruption-related appeals are reviewed within 20 working days. If additional information is required, the deadline may be extended by a further 10 working days.
